The job I hired D&P for was to make my multi leveled narrow back yard a “pond” like paradise. Our requirements were a 16×36 pool, patio, diving rock, waterfall, fire pit, slide and a separate jacuzzi, which at first seemed impossible. This was not your typical installation.
From day one Bill had the vision, put it to a plan, and did everything he could to explain how it would all work and it all came together.
The first challenge was that there was no easy access to the back yard. We negotiated with my neighbor to allow us to use their yard to get to ours (at job completion, Bill built them a paver walkway which they are very happy with). Since trucks didn’t have access, they had to run dirt all the way from the back yard through the neighbors, then to the street.

Bills vision was to raise the pool 2 feet above ground and build it to help mitigate the hill he was building into. He also used 28 tons of moss rock boulders to retain and make it look natural. There is stacked slate on the front pool wall and fire pit to tie into existing patio walls.

The separate jacuzzi is a 6 seater which is also surrounded by moss rock boulders.

To wrap it up, Bill installed flowing plants and landscaping.

I asked for paradise and I got it. Bill and his project manager Dave really delivered quality products and came through for us. As with any large project in a difficult space, there are a lot of decisions to make and we did this pretty easily (I am not easy to please). And when there were any small issues, Bill and team addressed them professionally. If you’re looking to hire a professional team for a medium to large project, I would recommend them.

I am happy that you did such a wonderful job around our house with landscaping and a patio. Olive Oyl and me just love to sit out there and smoke our pipes. The outdoor kitchen has a fridge where I keeps me spinach, in case that dumbo Bluto comes lookin fer Olive Oyl.

Next year you’ll have to build me a pool, so I can sail around in it at home.

Deck and Patio built a special pond for me on my private golf course. It looks great, except for the alligators that have made it their new home. I have to be careful not to hit my golf balls into it, or they get really angry.

Now that summer is over, I wanted to write you a personal thank-you note for the wonderful job you and your company did on my backyard renovation project. Every time I look outside, I cannot believe that it is my backyard. The transformation is hard to fathom at times.

This past summer was the first in years that I spent so much time in the pool and yard. The overall layout you created is my personal vacation getaway. It is a great feeling to know that my family and I can escape the everyday pressures of life within a few feet of our kitchen sliders. When family and friends visit my home, they are speechless with the backyard. My yard is now referred to as “The A. Resort”. I am not sure what part of the project is my favorite. It is difficult to choose between the deck, spas, pond & streams, landscaping, pool area, waterfalls and of course, the slide and rock steps. I decided, I love it all. Bill, job well done!

The level of professionalism you and your staff exhibited throughout the project was refreshing and very much appreciated. After years of home improvement projects, this is the first time I felt compelled to write a letter thanking a contractor. From day one, you always answered my telephone calls and were always honest with me. In addition, your office always responded to my needs and your builders were always courteous and respectful of my family and home. Trust me; these qualities are hard to find in a contractor

Minnie and I love the new heart shaped swimming pool that you built for us. We go skinny dipping every night after all the DisneyWorld visitors have gone home. AWESOME!
