Pool's Closed? Fall Is Hot Tub Season

The pool is covered for the season, the leaves are turning, and Long Island evenings have that crisp fall feel. Summer may be over, but your time in the backyard doesn't have to be.
This is the time of year when a hot tub really shines. Here's why fall is a great time to think about adding one.
Cool Air, Warm Water
There's something special about sinking into warm water while the air around you is cool. Fall nights are perfect hot tub weather. It's a great way to unwind after work, catch up with family, or just sit back and enjoy a quiet evening under the stars.
And it doesn't stop when the temperature drops further. A snowy night might be the best time of all to use one.
Keep Using Your Yard All Year
When the pool closes, a lot of backyards go quiet until spring. A hot tub changes that. It gives you a reason to step outside all through fall and winter, not just in summer.
Our hot tub installations are planned with year-round use in mind. Each one sits on an engineered pad or reinforced deck framing built for its filled weight, with dedicated electrical, steps, privacy screening, and lighting.
Picture Where It Would Go
Take a look out your back window. A hot tub gets used the most when it's just a few steps from the door, tucked away from the neighbors' view, and lit well enough to walk to on a cold winter night.
Maybe that's a corner of your deck, a spot on the patio, or right next to the pool so the whole area feels like one finished space. A hot tub can be recessed into a deck or set into a pool surround with stone skirting and steps, so it looks like it was always meant to be there.
Already Have One? Make It Even Better
If you already own a hot tub, fall is a nice time to notice how it fits into your yard. Is the walk from the house a little long or dark? Does it feel too exposed? Does the deck around it feel soft or bouncy? Better lighting, screening, steps, or a stronger base can make it a spot you want to use every night.
Dreaming About a Pool, Too?
If you spent this summer wishing you had a pool of your own, fall is a great time to start planning. Design and approvals take time, so starting the conversation now means you're not rushing come spring.
Our pools and spas team builds gunite and vinyl pools, including pools with an integrated spa, so you can swim all summer and soak all winter. The pool, coping, surround, and landscaping are handled by one company on one schedule.
