The existing surface sat close to grade with planting pressed tight against the house, leaving no defined edge between terrace and lawn.
The Design Solution
The terrace was rebuilt on a compacted base with a banded paver field, a seat wall establishing the outer edge, and planting set back into beds that frame rather than crowd the space.
