Water needed to be visible and audible from the main seating area without the pond reading as a dropped-in feature.
The Design Solution
Boulders were set to build the falls in stages, planting was carried over the pond edges to hide liner lines, and the viewing edge was aligned with the existing path so the pond sits inside the landscape rather than beside it.
